Excellent read. Aside from being interesting I think it helps you look within yourself and somehow find a little piece of you in Dolores.

This book was depressing and yet somehow inspiring at the same time. It gave me the courage to never give up

Not as humorous a romp as the book jacket would lead you to believe... actually quite a harrowing, nerve-wracking read. But it's extremely well written, I think, and I can't deny being drawn into Delores' world, if somewhat morbidly so.

I read this for the first time in an undergraduate literature class. It was moving then and it's moving now.

Ultimately a difficult read on behalf of its content, but really rewarding at the end. I enjoyed it, though it followed a very similar trajectory to the other Wally Lamb novel I've read: 'This Much I Know is True' which I enjoyed a little bit more.
