Kat is a widow, barely putting her life together when she meets her bff, Ginny - the local hippy with an animal sanctuary. Hot mess. Kat joins a grieving group - meets her future husband, Nico. They marry after a short time to avoid his and his daughter's deportation due to Brexit. Money is withdrawn from her account in weird sums. A phone call on the same day, same time every week. How well does Kat know Nico?
Slow and intense build - I loved Kat, a woman who just wanted to be loved. Though creepy - obsessed with Midge; the detail just added to her personality, added lots of shade to her reliability as a narrator.

This was a good page turner - it's dark, suspenseful, and has more than a few twists. I liked how the story was told, as if Kat was talking to her dead husband. I thought that having just her point of view was a good way to build the suspense. The three main characters are all unlikeable, and while I enjoy stories with unlikeable characters, this just felt a little overdone. There were twists I didn't guess, and some of them had my jaw dropping. This was an enjoyable read & I look forward to reading more from this author.

Thanks to Oneworld Publications & NetGalley for the DRC in exchange for an honest review.

Although the ending didn’t shock me, I liked it.
Nice enjoyable thriller

The Coffin Club was an intriguing and entertaining page turner! I was up well past my bedtime turning the pages in this book! The main character Kat is a woman who is both physically and emotionally scarred but she's real and has depth which for me is something I look for in a book. I want to feel what the characters feel and with Kat it was easy to find that connection! There are a few layers that connect everything together but when it does come together it's a surprising twist!

Thank you Random Things Tours for sharing this book with me!
