My Opinion:
I was in need of a thriller to change things up a bit and this was a sort of buddy read and trying to guess who the killer was it's exciting and fun.
The plot is very predictable and the writing wasn't that good and it shows that it was his debut novel, but it was a lot of fun and I couldn't stop reading until I got my answers. That's why I gave this rate.
If you want a nice thriller, this is a good choice.

This is the best book I’ve read in quite some time! So many twists and turns—held my attention the entire time and I could not put it down.

3.75 stars.

I’m glad this wasn’t the first book by Charlie Donlea that I read, otherwise I might not have been so keen to read the rest. Never the less, this was is first book published, so I’m glad he grew from it.

This is his only book that I thought was a little slow, and very predictable. It was a decent read, but I definitely struggled to get through it at points.

Wow! Great book by a new author for me. The book bounced back and forth between present and past as things all culminated. Towards the end a few, wow, didn't see that coming!! A great listen, couldn't put it down.

Was gripping up until the end. I couldn't put it down and was up way too late finishing it, but when the reveal came, it was a complete disappointment.

I can forgive misdirection in a whodunnit. I can't forgive outright deceit.
