Yasssssss....

Honestly I thought I was going to hate this book; mostly because i hate fantasy; so a middle grade witch story sounded awful.

And it was; at first.

The more you got in to the story the more unique it became. Yes there were definatley issues with it; but every book has issues right?

I saw the plot twist coming; but that still made me wide eyed. And then more and more pllot twists started coming and the things I was worried about in the beginning were forgotten within the middle of the book.

This book really taught me to not underestimate middle grade fantasy anymore.

This book was really intereting in this book Rachel goes to Summer camp and a lot of things go down and I think of all the books this was the most entertaining of all the magic in Manhattan series.

good god this book made me so nostalgic :,) i remember initially reading this in the fourth grade WHICH, in retrospect, was soooo young? (quite concerning) anyways- this book lived up to all of my memories and was the ideal summer read for me :^
(not to mention that re-reading this made me
realize how much this series has influenced my witchiness all these years later)

This book contained several good twists to keep the story interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing what she does with the next book.

This is definately one of my favorite books! In this book, not only does it have typical teenager or magic a la Miri problems, but also magic a la Rachel and BIG problems. But also it (finally) involves some romance between Rachel and Raf! If you haven't already read this book, you're missing out on a lot.

What a great series. Rachel ends up having magical powers and heads off to camp with her 2 sisters.
Of course the magic is used and not in the way that they had hoped when using it. There were some weird turns and twists in this book but it was sooooo cute. I loved it :)
