I think O’ Malley’s works are a beautiful entry intro into fun graphic novels. I read this after finishing Scott Pilgrim and wanting more and I can say that it was both incredibly entertaining and unexpectedly deep

This is probably one of the most creative graphic novels I've read that has a dark twist to it! The dark themes work even better with the light-hearted and happy art style the book has. I loved how self-aware our main character was, and how she talked to the narrator throughout the novel; never before have I seen someone create a dynamic like this. Overall this was an amazing read, and something I would recommend all around due to its originality!

brought this along with me to read on the plane. i don't know how many times i've read it at this point, but it's a favorite of mine. this time i paid special attention to the characters' outfits, how each conveyed a different sense of style and gave the impression of a unique person's wardrobe.

Casi me da pena haberlo leído tan rápido.

An enjoyable new take on the butterfly effect.

the premise was fun, but the ending wasn't as gratifying as i'd hoped, it even confused me a bit.
i don't really understand why katie got back together with her ex? it felt like part of the plot centered on their incompatibility...
i don't mind plot holes, but it felt like there wasn't a larger moral to the story. but the use of colour was stunning and i enjoyed the fantasy element, which gave this book a more creative take on time travel. i also loved the supporting characters, and wished they had played a bigger role.  the relationship between katie and the narrator was funny, and made the work seem self-aware and like doesn't take itself too seriously. overall, cozy and enjoyable.

I wasn't sure what to expect going into this book. The cover caught my eye in the library and I liked the art style.
It actually turned out to be a pretty well-done story about a woman messing with the space-time continuum to fix her dumb life decisions.
Normally I'm not into the time travel-y sort of stuff, but the characters established in the story made it a pretty solid read.
Nothing life changing, but an interesting story that I'd recommend to anyone who thinks the premise sounds interesting.
