THIS BOOK WAS UNHINGED AND I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT..

Read this book if you Like:

☠️ Mafia Romance
☠️ Dark Romance (A lot of darkness and unhingeness)
☠️ Workplace Relationship
☠️ Serial Unliver
☠️ Touch her/him and die
☠️ Vigilante Justice
☠️ Obsessive MMC (she was his from the first glance)

this book has a lot of TW so read with caution and care..
One of the longest reads of 2023 for me and I loved it..

I loved loved how fierce Abby was from what she had gone through and how she stood on her feet in front of Roman every f*cking time...

Roman is the mafia man and when one deal goes wrong with them killing Irish people with whom they had a ceasefire, everything starts to have a domino fall...

the twists and turns were perfect...

I am WAITING for Ana's booksss.

Loved it!! Such a good mafia romance. Loved Abby and Roman. There was so much tension between them but so was the spice. This had good story development and kept you reading. There was drama, suspense and twists. So good!

I received an arc and this review is my own.

When signing up for this ARC what grabbed my attention was MAFIA & a SERIAL KILLER! That was new for me. And this book did NOT disappoint. I was hooked right in the beginning. There is humor, workplace romance, “touch her you die”, love/wanting at first sight. I mean this book really has it all. There are twist and secret, which had me tense a lot throughout the book because I honestly didn’t know what I was about to read next. I definitely recommend this book. It’s probably one of my new favorite dark/mafia romance books that I will encourage others to read.

For this being new authors, well done 👏🏼

Thank you for an arc of this book. It made me want to call in sick to carry on reading.

I loved abby and romans love hate relationship, and the banter they had. It was amazingly written and loved the dual perspective style. There was also the perfect ratio of story and spice, and when the spice hits it is 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶.

I highly recommend this book, especially if your new to dark romance, as it isnt too dark, but has its moments.

Holy moly please check TWs before reading this book because it is one big heap of possible triggering subjects. Also keep in mind that this book is 600 pages, so not a quick read.

That being said: I really enjoyed reading this book! So thank you to @theauthor.agency and the authors for giving me this ARC.

Abby is a serial killer. She killed her abusive husband and after that she started killing men like him with her own brand of poison. When she starts working as an executive assistant to Roman, a mafia don, she tries to kill him as well.. only to stop herself because she can’t help feeling like they are very similar deep inside (as well as crazy attracted to each other). But will he figure out that she’s the one killing his men?

While I love mafia dark romance, serial killer was new to me and I have to say it’s not my favorite (I lose all my feminist sides when reading mafia and prefer helpless virgin heroines, sorry!). Then again I do love it when the MC’s find each other in their darkness and this book really delivered on that.

There’s some very spicy scenes in this book, however I do feel like the darkness is more present in other parts of the story. But I have read some crazy stuff so my mind might be corrupted 🤷🏼‍♀️ The 🌶️ is wild and crazy, as well as rough and degrading at times.

Dual POV

This book was long, but so worth it. I am not going to type out the blurb or a synopsis. To me, that is annoying and repetitive. No hate to anyone that does that though. I am going to get straight to the good stuff.

Abby is a badass FMC. Plain and simple. She doesn't take anything from anyone; she has a garden where she grows plants that can kill anyone. You don't want to mess with her. Roman is a mafia boss who is possessive, powerful, and protective. They together are an unstoppable force. They made me laugh and made me angry, but they also made me say "aw" and "WTF" all in the same sentence LOL.

The story was well-developed, but to me, the ending felt a bit rushed. That is my only complaint though. It is definitely worth the read.

Oh also, how gorgeous is the cover?!!

Thank you to Charly Nicole and The Author Agency for this ARC
