I loved Susain Cain's first book on introversion (Quiet) so picked up this book without properly reading what it was about. It's actually aimed at teenagers and would be excellent for someone trying to navigate the hectic world of high-school as an introvert. There's enough in this book to make it appeal to just about anyone, but it'll be most useful to its target audience.

It seems I am constantly trying to understand my daughters and their personalities, so I can give them the best tools for success at life. I liked this books message, that introversion and extroversion are more of a spectrum and I think that if I just give my daughters that knowledge, it will be helpful for them as they navigate their own social interactions.

Also, this was good to read as a teacher as a reminder to incorporate many ways for students to participate and engage.

This book is written for teens but I did get a lot out of it. I am an introvert and could relate to many of the situations mentioned in this book. Highly recommend if you want to learn how to survive in an extrovert world.
