This series is like freaking catnip. And to finally see/read about Ronan was worth the wait. The journey between him and Daisy was both incredibly sweet and incredibly sad. They were both searching for something in each other. Daisy held onto a secret that of course was bound to throw a wrench into their fast-developing relationship.
This duo definitely fell hard and fast, and it was a whirlwind. But the heat and spice and emotion were all there. Throw in a decent age gap and some kink, and this is not a book for everyone but beyond the sex, there is always a strong thread of personal growth and emotional development in Sara Cate's books that I love. It keeps the outrageous-seeming aspects of the story from being eye-rolling. It grounds the relationships and keeps the reader (or at least me) invested and on an emotional roller-coaster (even though you know it will end with a HEA). It makes the inevitable destination worth the trip.

OH I loved Daddy Ronan and would happily replace Daisy in this relationship, let get out, Daddy Ronan is mine now. What a fun addition to the Salacious Players Club series. Billionaire age gap at its finest. You guys know I enjoy a good age gap, and this one delivered. The smut was delicious and holy hell, listening to it on audio, even better. It annoyed me that Daisy couldn't just be honest with him from the start regarding her mother. I appreciated that the pregnancy was at the end and it felt right for how their relationship progressed, it was a cute lil happily ever after.
