This book was so good. As someone who’s lived in Alaska the depiction of setting was spot on. Characterization was rich. I loved it!

I read this a while back and now can't remember the feelings it gave me. In any case, I really enjoyed it a lot except for one thing. I won't mention it because it's really just a small thing in an otherwise wonderful story. There is a fine line between fantasy and reality, which may bother some readers, but it didn't bother me. This was my first kindle book and it was hard to get used to it for the first few days, but then I was ok. I still think I prefer my hard copy, but we will see if that changes over time.

I still can't decide if I liked this book or not. I enjoyed it all the way to the end, and then I was sort of frustrated with the ending. I guess it had to end that way, fairy tale and all, but I hoped for a different ending.
