Not as good as the first, but still a page turner.
A must read if you have started the series...

This is the book that explains what happens after Peeta and Katniss get back from the Hunger Games...the ramifications of forcing the Gamemakers to allow two to win.

I felt that this was a repeat of the first....on one level, and I found it a bit yawn-able...but the rest was fine.

And as my students would exclaim....why can't she just pick??

This book starts off really slow and doesn't seem to have any sort of direction for the first half or so of the novel. The last half redeems it and it is still a very enjoyable book. It wasn't as good as the first but still a worthy follow-up and I will definitely be reading the third.

Katniss is my least favorite character simply because of her back and forth whining about being in a love triangle. Team Finnick all day

This sequel provides a twist on the annual Hunger Games ritual, putting Katniss yet again in harm's way. I started getting bored of the love triangle partway through the book, but the cliffhanger at the end was perfect!
