Having read book one, this book can be read standalone but I would recommend that you read the first (bc it’s fabulous and you get history). This book follows Carly...loves her! So beautifully damaged locking everyone out of her heart. Chance, wants to break that lock, and show her how amazing she is;) So many twists in this book, you’ll be on edge throughout! Engaging from start to finish! Found myself tearing up at parts...such an amazing story! Can’t wait for the next book!

Wow. This book was INTENSE! There were so many details and Myers absolutely killed it with this story. I was so intrigued and drawn in I could not put this down. I loved the back and forth between Carly and Chance. Carly’s character does so much growing and healing, my heart absolutely broke for her. Chance was so patient and steadfast in his approach with Carly it makes the reader fall in love with him. Myers did such. Great job with the character development of not only the main characters but the side characters as well. I read the first book in the series and and the second book overlapped with the first. The beginning of the second book takes us back to some of the scenes from the first book and it was really neat to see those from Carly’s perspective to see where her head was at during those times. While the characters get their HEA in the end I was SOBBING in the last chapter. I had to put my kindle down because holy crap was my heart broken. This story took a turn I was not expecting and while Myers did set it up with some foreboding I was not prepared for what happened in the end. This series was my first read of an MC series and I really enjoyed it. The bikers are fiercely loyal and protective of those that they love and the sense of family is one thing I love about this book. I highly recommend this book but make sure to grab some tissues, especially for the end!

Addicted to Love ( Bayou Devils MC Book 2 )
By A.M. Myers
5/5 Stars

A.M. Myers does it yet again… her stories are always deep and complex. But her characters… wow!! One of the things I enjoy most about the characters.. yes, they have a past, a terrible and incredibly painful past. But they always find out they are a lot stronger than they even begin to realize !!
Carly is a strong and independent woman. She has a painful past, she doesn’t ever want to relive again Because of her past she doesn’t do relationships.. ever!! Until Chance… chaos ensues!!
Seriously, this is a must read !! It will have you captivated from beginning to end! Amazing job, A.M. Myers! I can’t wait to read what’s next!

Carly doesn’t do relationships, with the attack from her past and the way that her mother treats men, she has no interest and makes it clear when she goes out with someone.
When she drops her friend off home and she saw, Chance she knows there is going to be problems, he makes her feel things that she hasn’t felt in a long time. Although Chance realises that Carly must have something in her past holding her back, he loves her fight against him even though she says she doesn’t want a relationship their chemistry tells him otherwise.
Carly pushes away Chance at every turn and Chance keeps coming back, Chance knows that what he feels with Carly is that once in a lifetime feeling and he’s not going to let it go without a fight. Slowly Deciding to stop fighting the feelings Carly decides that it’s worth giving what she feels with Chance a try. Carly’s biggest fear is once Chance knows about her past that he will leave, although he didn’t run when he met her crazy mother. When her past shows up on her door step, she sees a side to Chance that makes her realise that he does cherish her.
Carly realises that not only is her sister in trouble, but exactly just what extent her mother went to, to keep her wealth. The twist was one I didn’t’ see coming, but I loved the ending with how Carly is still just as stubborn with Chance as she always has been .

Book Review: Addicted to Love (Bayou Devils MC Book Two)
Author: A.M. Myers
FIVE STARS
This book has it all. Suspense, romance, comedy, sex, kidnapping, and lots of passionate emotions.
I laughed, I cried, I was angry and I was scared. This book pulled out all of the emotions that will either make you love this book or hate this book.
There could be triggers from some if you have had a past of rape or domestic abuse. Read with caution if you have issues with either of those.
Carly and Chance are amazing together and I was rooting for him from the beginnig. Carly is a strong woman and she has her mind set on never falling in love with anyone again.
This book is so full of all things that it is hard to focus on writing a review without spoilers.
All I know is I adore Aunt Dottie and Carlys mother can go straight to hell for all I care.
I am truly hoping that Ivy will get her own book soon. ADORE this book.
