5 beautiful stars
If I could give more than five stars I would. This book was ugly. Yet, it proved that beauty can survive in ugliness. This wasn't a hearts, glitter, and sparkly unicorn. It was angst, it was heartbreaking. It was finding salvation in a life of destruction. It was looking your demons in the eye and breaking free from their chains.
My heart hurt for Bex. It hurt for .lucky/Gabriel. Gabriel had some of the best lines in the book trying to teach Bex her worth. He was steadfast in his dedication to her. He loved her unconditionally and that was beautiful to see. He was an angel dressed in biker clothes and rode a Harley, but he was a angel.
These two went through hell and back.This has been my favorite of the series. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

I love this book. Not only is the man one of dreams but the woman isn't a damsel in distress, she is an overcomer.

Ok I get this might not be everyone's cup of tea. Addiction is not easy subject matter and I really appreciate Becky's journey. BUT this book dragged and also felt repetitive. Like give the girl a break

Loved Lucky and Bex
Dauntless is an awesome read. Dark for sure. Not easy, not light. But the love still shows through it all.

I am kinda speechless. I always love seeing a jokesters serious side and then add a woman who has had such a hard life come together. It was one of the best couples I have read. For every bad thing Bex had going on, Lucky was there to help her understand to still stay in life. This was a dark book with a lot of dark things happening. This is not a fairy tale but a beautiful book on still living even when you think life is not worth living. I love lucky and have loved him since the start. We saw Bex book 4 but really never understood her upbringing. And then add onto the addiction layer and then the kidnapping. This was such an honest book that horrifying things happen its how you live past them. I thought when I read wrathful souls, nothing would beat that well dauntless has. Just I don't know how anne does it time and time again.
