YES! That's all I can say really. What a satisfying book. Nick is understanding more and more about himself and the world, but he's still staying good. And he's even figuring out who Ambrose really is. He's a really smart kid, that one.

I'm loving this series, as it is a mix of the Dark Hunters and Nick's paralell story, it's great to read about Kyrian, and how he was before the Dark Hunter books. And it's great to see the battles Nick has to battle with himself to stay true and good.

Nick's mom is not as present as I had thought she would be, but she's still there, and loving him, so it's OK.

I'm still not sure how I feel about Cody, and I am wondering who is in place to hurt Nick from the side of his friends.

Part II of the #Gautierathon complete. This book had a lot more worldbuilding and explaining than the first. For me there was a stark difference between the two. I really enjoyed all the action in Infinity. But at the same time, I really enjoyed all the explanations and lessons in Invincible. We are also introduced to another important character in Grim. I loved the banter between Nick and Grim during their lessons. It really added to the sarcasm and humor I loved from the first book.

One thing I'm still struggling with is whether or not I should have read the Dark Hunters Series before starting this. This is technically a prequel spin-off so I would think not. But there are times we meet a new character and I get the vibe that it is expected that I know more about them then I really do.

I'm really hoping Infamous has more action in it but still has some elements of the worldbuilding in Invincible.

Finally, I am enjoying how we seem to have one main threat in each book. This book we had Devus who Nick had to defeat on is own. I appreciate that Nick's learning is intertwined with overcoming challenges own his own (or at least with his small group of friends/companions).

SpoilerAlso I don't trust Kody at all. I don't think she is going to continue to be an ally.

Originally found book 1, 3, 4, 6 at one of my hometowns second hand book stores. I bought book 1 and 3. The covers is what drew me to this series. Once I picked up the first one it was hard to put it down. I took longer on the first book to finish because I was searching for the second book. I finally found it at my local Barnes and Nobles after a month an half of searching second hand book stores.

The second book I would have read all in one day if I didn't have to work. But crushed the rest it on my first day off! I absolutely love the way this books are written. They are easy to read and are super captivating. The author writes these books so well I feel like I'm either watching a tv show or right there with the characters. I'm hooked on this series! I can not put it down!

I'm not sure who my favorite character is in this book. I kind of like everyone. Maybe Caleb and Nick are my favorite so far. I like the end fight scene with them fighting off the demons while they waited for help to come. Don't know why but that scene gave me Captain America and Ironman vibes. Just them sort of in sync with each other and Nick able to fight all of a sudden.

I'm so happy for the mom and getting out of the club into a somewhat nicer environment. Will see with the books to come. Lol. As Nick says she deserves so much more and finally she is getting some where.

I only gave this book 4 stars because I'm still irritated we aren't given the whole list or partial of his powers or him able to use some powers already. We are getting into book 3 and he's only using some powers that don't seem that useful but I can see how they can be useful. They aren't mind melting. Or wow that's crazy..... Yet. But I will still continue with this series. I'm hooked and can not put these bad boys down! Lol.
