Ciara and Misha
I enjoyed this, but I also feel the ending was a bit rushed. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the hero, because he wasn’t quite alpha enough, while the heroine was a bit too naïve and innocent for my tastes. The smut was great though.

I’ve never read a sugar bowl (sugar baby and sugar daddy) book before. Life is about new experiencing. I should have new reading experiences as well. I went in with an open mind. I enjoyed it. This book is filled with intrigue, adventure, and lots of sexiness.
I wouldn’t say it’s your typical sugar bowl book. Circumstances caused the heroine to look into being a sugar baby. I enjoyed learning about the sugar baby lifestyle. If I could find someone in the 1% that just wants company and cuddle, sign me up. Do you dare enter the sugar bowl?
I voluntarily read an early copy.

Meh
Tbh this felt lightweight for what I was looking for thus I'll be excited about the next book which seems more my speed for what I'm looking for.

While this may be considered a dark read, it isn't exceptionally dark. The darkness is mostly in the backdrop. The behind the scenes per sa. A 'bad guy' falling for a good girl. He may have done some illegal things and some may have been violent, but he isn't all horrible. He wants to be better and tries to be a better and more honest person given his situation. Trying to right one of his wrongs he meets a young woman who is suffering because of him (and his brother.) He doesn't really like her but after a short amount of time with her in their unconventional relationship, they both start to have feelings for the other. But he is hiding some secrets from her that could make her never want to talk to him again. After awhile something happens and he is forced to confess to her. You can imagine how that goes. While a bit gruff, he is also quite the sweetheart (though most people don't get to see that side of him.) His character is somewhat socially inapt. He doesn't really know how to interact with people if it isn't in a business setting. It was fun to watch him fumble while trying to get his act in order. I really enjoyed his character. She was strong-willed and smart in general, but there was also a naivety about her. She is paying for a debt that isn't hers, and does what she has to. Of course, she doesn't have much choice as the only other option is death. There is plenty of sexual content, and that along with the darkness and violence (limited,) it is suitable for mature readers.

This is my first book from Brianna Hale. I was super excited about reading this, the premise is a favorite with a bit of a unique twist. I really couldn’t dig in and didn’t enjoy it like I wanted to. The pace felt slow and the characters were just meh. We’re left on a bit of a cliffy but I’m not sure that I’ll read the conclusion. That said, I know the author is a favorite of many so I’m sure this is a “it’s me, not you” situation and I’ll probably try another book another time.

Omg wtf?
Okay let's start by the introduction. I have to say, the start of this plot made me a bit queasy, I wasn't sure if this was my kind of thing but I rolled with it because I thought this was just a bit over 100 Pages. Wow I was wrong.
Also, I thought this book was going to be a fun, flirty read. OMG WAS IT NOT. I clearly don't read DESCRIPTIONS well, but that prplogue? Did not expect that at all
The climax? chef's kiss, I love most of what was leading to it, however, at first I thought this was a novella therefore I understood the fast pace of it but since it is not, this book-well the physicality of their relationship is like snap
