A great book for anyone looking for introspective journaling prompts, but not anything new for folks who are already on the path to self-acceptance.

While I enjoyed the vocal performance I would recommend a visual copy of this book as much of it includes reflective questions. I have to admit I was not fully engaged with the listening experience despite an adequate vocal performance. The content was interesting but I think I missed out on a full experience without pausing to answer some of the questions posed.

This is a beautiful book that helps you dig deep and work through some difficult emotions and feelings. If you want a preview of her writing and advice you can see a lot of it on Instagram.

I absolutely loved Already Enough. It is written in Lisa's gently guiding voice that is such a comfort for those of us looking to feel seen and supported. As an adoptee myself, it was amazing to hear more of Lisa's deeply personal story woven throughout and the trauma of family separation acknowledged at multiple points. Her descriptions of adoptee grief were very relatable.
There are dozens and dozens of thoughtful questions throughout the book that could be used for journal prompts, self-reflection, to take to our own therapists to process...I found them incredibly valuable and I can see myself returning to different sections time and time again.
