I adore these books!! India is a female Indiana Jones and Raven is the man who broke her heart but needs her help! Fake relationship, Mystery, espionage, archaeology and intelligent heroine!! What's NOT to love!!

It was fine, but honestly it's my least favorite Lenora Bell romance that I've read. There needed to be more than just clearing up a silly misunderstanding to bring these two together. I'd rather Daniel/Raven had really been a rogue, not just playacting. And Indy? Really? A female archeologist named Indy? But it was fine. Not memorable, but still a pleasant read.

I just finished this today, and O.M.G it was sooo good!!! I absolutely loved it! I loved the backstory that shaped the characters! I loved the chemistry and passion the main characters shared! I love how she never fails to draw you in quickly and doesn’t release you til the very end! This book had twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and made me feel like I was on quite the adventure! It’s a little heavier on the steam scale but I’m good with that! It’s not necessary to read any of the others first (however if you haven’t read any of her work you are missing out big time!). This author has definately become a must read for me and is one of favorites! Thank you Lenora Bell for sharing your talented writing and imagination with the world! 5 stars rating from me! (If I could go higher I would 😁😁😁😁)

This has vague Indiana Jones and friends to enemies to lovers vibes going for it.
We have India an archaeologist who has swagger and a sharp tongue to go with the dagger she carries, who hunts mostly for formidable women lost to history.
And we have Daniel aka Raven, who India believes to be a lazy, self-serving jackass, when he's really a spy for the crown trying to clear his fathers name.
Raven and India have been betrothed basically since birth, but when his father dies he's taken away to live with Sir Malcolm who sends him to "spy school", once he's finished he must push Indy away to protect her and they become bitter rivals. Until they are forced to work together.
This was such a fun, steamy story. I do love that Lenora seems to like putting in hints of voyeurism in her stories, I haven't seen that often in historical romance.

Was looking forward to this book based off the 1st book in the series and it surpassed my expectations.

This was insanely cute, in my opinion. Shakespeare, history, archeology, espionage & travel? Sign me up.

James Bond meets Indiana Jones in this fantastically delicious enemies-to-lovers historical romance! My FAVORITE Lenora Bell title to date.

I received a free copy in exchange for a fair review, thank you to the publisher and Edelweiss!

Daniel Bonds, the Duke of Ravenwood was Lady India Rochester's best friend. The boy who embraced her desire to dig in the dirt, the boy she was supposed to marry and spend the rest of her life adventuring with.

Now "Raven" is India's arch-nemesis and embodies everything she stands against-a spoiled noble who only cares about treasure hunting, not for finding and securing artifacts for museums.

But Raven has a secret. He is still in love with India, but he cannot have her. He is intent on honoring his father's dying wish, that he continue on the family's tradition of spying for the crown. His persona as an indolent, over-sexed, and greedy noble is the perfect cover, but also the perfect way to drive Lady India away.

But, fifteen years after leaving India once and for all, they are driven back together by a mission to secure an important stolen artifact and Raven's may not be able to withstand his desire to finally make Lady India his, once and for all, mission be damned.

AH! This was so wonderfully steamy and funny and fun! Super highly recommend.

Lady India stole my heart. She is so fierceless, I adored her as the medling sister in the previous book and she shined through as the heroine in this one.
