The story had a lot of potential but it just didn’t quite get there.

How is it possible in this day and age to murder someone and not leave a trace without taking precautions. It just didn’t make sense to me

The mc was also quite annoying at times.

Very 'How to kill your family' vibes.

Premise was ok, but I found the execution awkward. Uncomfortable reading at times (which I guess was the point), but I couldn't get on board with the characters or the idea that she really would 'get away with it'

Interestingly, I really liked the murder after the night before by Katy Brent but I probably wouldn't have read it if I'd read this first!

This was one hell of unique book with well done plot twists and my god, do I love unhinged women. 

But there are some writing choices I don’t vibe with and there is some unnecessarily detailed descriptions of awful stuff. Read the TW before reading.

Een combinatie van grappig en serieus. Soms gruwelijk hoe gedetailleerd de moord wordt omschreven, maar dan hou ik wel van!

Het einde zag ik niet aankomen, positief verrast! Ik kan niet goed mijn vinger erop leggen waarom ik het geen 5 sterren geef, ik denk rond 60-70 procent dat ik het een beetje saai vond worden, maar de sensatie kwam al snel weer terug, dus zeker wel 4 sterren waard!
