A delightful follow-up. Excited to move on to the rest of the series! Definitely not the most mysterious whodunit but such a joyful reading experience.

While I still enjoyed this book, I felt the middle slagged a bit and some sections were a bit of a repeat. I also felt like Veronica became a bit static and that she wasn’t developing as a character, but then, that ending! No spoilers, but I didn’t quite see the ending coming, and it was in those final few chapters that I felt like Veronica had grown as a character. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a good fun mystery to read by the fire.

Gosh, it still HASN’T HAPPENED. What in the world is it going to take?
