This book was half-textbook, half-narrative and the narrative wasn't as good as I hoped, but it really got me thinking about religion and why it exists.
Also, the codes were fun. I wish the plot moved a bit faster.

Started with the hardback, finished with the Audiobook.
This was a reread for me, and was so much fun because I had forgotten a few of the main plot twists and got to be surprised anew! I love the symbolism, the puzzle solving, and that the exciting story sucked me in from the beginning.
(The audiobook has some great bonus content at the end: An interview with the screenplay writer, and a speech by the author.)

This definitely held my attention, but I kept getting frustrated with constant cliff hangers at the end of every chapter.

I find the writing to be a bit gregarious, but the plot is great and the history is fantastic!
