I mean, it’s prescient but you can’t help but feel no one learned anything from our last go round with fascism. This is also a little too pro-America for me because it doesn’t acknowledge that there are a lot of people who would prefer this system.

So well researched that it’s almost too horrifying to put down. Maddow’s voice is engaging and inviting—perhaps a little bit biased, but it’s hard to expect anyone to be completely unbiased when talking about nazis. In fact, I’d be slightly concerned if she wasn’t.

Such a refreshingly positive outlook on what often feels like a very dark time for the current state of our country. It feels good to celebrate the bravery of the defenders of democracy that history has largely forgotten. It is also shocking and terrifying how close Hitler came to successfully destabilizing the United States prior to our entry into WWII.
