Didn't like this one as much as the one before, can't put my finger on why exactly. Just didn't love Patrick and Andy as a couple

Good.. I like that all the siblings are in all books even tho each book is based on a couple. It ended suddenly but I am sure we will learn more in the next book..

Thanks to my library's Hoopla for having the audiobooks available for this series because they're helping me get through the books in the series quickly!
I liked this one more than than I did the first book. I liked the evolution of Andi's and Patrick's relationship more than I did the couple in the first book.

The Walsh series is easily becoming my favorite series and Kate Canterbary my favorite contemporary author. I 100% want to get adopted by this family (but like post childhood trauma stuff).
I never knew I liked grumps but boy does Canterbary write them good. Patrick is an intimidating grumpy grump who is also kinda a big dork and I love it. Andy I was not super in love with especially in that final 3rd act but she was great for Patrick and loved how she unraveled him.
I just want to devour this series but also don’t want it to end.
Also the competency porn here (and in Underneath it All and I imagine across the other books in the series) is chef’s kiss.
