Another amazing offering by Jane Harper!!
I love how this book goes between past and the present and you are getting the complete picture along the way, without being confused about what time period you’re in.
Again kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat right til the very end!

Aaron Falk is growing on me.
I enjoyed Force of Nature significantly more than The Dry. Perhaps that could be chalked up to my love of the outdoors, hiking, and the dreaded team building activities? I enjoyed the development of Falk's personality from the first novel to this one, and am really looking forward to Harper's next novel coming out.
Although you don't need to read the first novel to read this one, I would suggest reading them both. This novel doesn't have any spoilers if you read them out of order, but Falk's relationship with his father will make way more sense if you read them in the correct order.

Another brilliant, atmospheric story set in the winter wilderness. While it's wild for me to even imagine going out in freezing temperatures, five women go out hiking in the forest on a work retreat and only four make it back.
Told in alternating timelines, this book kept me at the edge of my seat especially towards the end where I was dying from the suspense.
I've read 3 books so far of Jane Harper's and she manages to blow me away each time.
I cannot wait to read Exiles and The Survivors!

This book is amazing, a griping mystery to keep you turning the pages until the back cover. Harper’s writing is crisp, descriptive, suspenseful and rich with real emotions. The sense of place Harper creates is deeply evocative, I could almost smell the damp eucalyptus the same way I could feel the hot breathless air when reading The Dry. Two books in and I may have a new favourite author.

Fast-paced whodunnit set in Australia bushland during a company’s team building event.
