The narration was amazing. That is about all I enjoyed. I understand it can be difficult to translate a graphic novel into an audiobook, but i found the netflix show adaptation much more entertaining. Some of the subplots were very boring and there was a lot of abuse conveyed on women that I felt was over the top and added for no apparent reason.

Had a blast as I felt like I was listening to a movie, and having watched the Netflix series I was able to follow along well. Brilliant story!

even though i have already watched the sandman show, this was still pretty cool. it sounded like the audio to a film because there was a lot of background sounds and different voices. i got a bit bored towards the end when the main story line was over and we got these weird mini stories… dunno what they were for…

Phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. I rarely am able to stay focused enough to listen to an audio book. The Sandman, with its sound effects and full cast (kind of a modern radio play) managed to not only retain my attention, but also for the first time in years I listened to something at an almost normal speed. I want to know anything and everything about how the mind of Mr. Gaiman works. His story was absolutely enthralling

This was a beautiful audio drama. James McAvoy's voice is perfect for Morpheus. Like some other reviewers, a lot of this content was far too graphic for me - especially as Dirk Maggs outdid himself in his soundscapes. I was far too uncomfortable throughout many episodes. Kat Dennings as Death was a *delightful* surprise.
