Loved it. I was so happy to be back on Three Sisters Island. I enjoyed this book much more than the second one. I had been waiting to hear Mia’s story because she was my favorite. Very cozy but still held my interest. The only reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars is because there was one love scene that was a little creepy to me in terms of consent. But very enjoyable overall.

Mia has worked hard to build a new life and business after the love of her life left 11 years ago. She's built a popular bookstore, and enjoys gardening and working her magic. Sam's return after all these years upsets her balance, and she refuses to believe that he might be part of their quest.
Having re-read the first two books in this series I felt compelled to read this one again too. Although no reader will ever doubt the outcome of this book it's still fun to take the journey. Mia is a strong and stubborn character, and it's enjoyable to see her feathers get a little ruffled. It's a solid final book in this magical trilogy.

Face the Fire is Mia and Sam’s story. It’s second chance and it wraps up the over arching plot of that began in book 1. It is a solid ending to a good series.

This last book in the series seemed rushed and the character development of the leading lady seemed lacking in comparison to the other girls. Still good, still Norah, but not my favorite of the series.

This one was unfortunately disappointing. The romance didn't work for me at all, however second chance is a trope I hatee. The hero is an arrogant dick. Ugh Mia deserved so much better
If I wasn't already emotionally invested in the characters this would be a dnf
