I would seriously consider avoiding this book if you're Black, as it could potentially be  really triggering. Within the first 3 minutes, the author talks about how she teaches these same neurosculpting techniques to law enforcement officers because they suffer from hypervigilance, and then keeps bringing it up. I just had to laugh, because you know who seriously suffers from hypervigilance in this country? Black people. I don't think this author realizes how insensitive she comes off, and it's really alienating to read this as a POC, because it's just so clearly not meant for me.

Cop-loving aside, the audiobook was narrated by the author and I really disliked it. She had this odd habit of randomly pausing between words and didn't read smoothly like a professional audiobook narrator would. She also talked down to her readers, repeating and explaining things in overly simplistic ways that seemed condescending.
