I loved it.
Seth's death was a plot device. Change my mind. You can't cause I'm right.

listen… i wish i didn’t love this series as much as i do but! not for the faint of heart (can be triggering as hell) and some of the writing is…. not good but the characters really get you into the storyline

I was so fascinated through this entire book. I couldn't stop reading. It was delightfully tense and the complexity of the characters was riveting. Despite the huge ensemble, none of them felt tropey or 1 dimensional so much as not explored as of yet. Not much happens in terms of plot in this book, but  not in a lackluster way. It very much just felt like a precursor to everything, the "calm" before the storm. The character dynamics are explored in depth and there's a great amount of variety and nuance to them. I'm eager to know more.
