A good, summer, feel-good read; tugs on the heartstrings; a lot of heavy themes with a big focus on familial relationships (especially mother/daughter); the speed at which the characters' relationships were reconciled, after being so estranged for so long, was a little unrealistic; cheesy at times, pretty predictable, and I was itching for more depth, but overall it was a heartwarming story that I enjoyed.

idk, it was fine. Mother-daughter relationships are complicated, blah blah blah. Repetitive and predictable but as usual, KH gets ya in the end with at least one little tearjerker moment. (it was the kid's name... which she's done in at least 2 other books that I've read.)

I do love the PNW though, so I enjoy those little tidbits.
