a very interesting novel. main character is quite a drag and the prose can be a bit much without saying anything, but otherwise a good mystery, and somewhat compelling

While it poses a lot of great questions, I have zero enjoyment in reading this book. I thought I could finish it 3 days max, but no I was just bored and annoyed at most. It was kinda predictable, and I HATED unreliable narrator the most. And the astrology and planetary read were boring I always want to skip them.

But, I do enjoy some of the moments in this book, and sometimes I feel Janina's hatred is justified, but sometimes I don't like this black and white outlook regarding meat-eating and hunting. Sometimes I found myself wanting to rate this book a 2☆ and a 5☆. But after reading pages and pages of planetary placement and constellation, let's just make it a 3☆.
