Y'know I have this thing where I don't read unfinished series because I always end up getting annoyed.

To be fair, each book is a separate case, so it is better, but still.

Like most of the other books, I found the pacing to be off, but the plot still enjoyable and fun to read.

Chapters are still too long, but I thikk the writing improved.

A nice YA novel with a bit of mystery. A bit dragged for my taste, but not bad.

I love Stevie and the gang (not acknowledging David in this gang tbh) and I am so happy to be back in their world. Every time I think I might like David, he does something annoying and I go back to not liking him. I prefer scenes where he is not with the others. If he wanted to stay in the UK forever, fine by me! So, you can say I don’t care about Stevie and David together. I’m not invested in the romance and was bored reading about it in the book, which is why I knocked off a star. However, I love being back in this world and reading about characters I love, so despite the romance, I enjoyed the mystery.
