My face is still stained in tears as I write this review. Book 2 REALLY took me through the motions. There was so many different things happening in this book. At the beginning I was secretly wish Mia would choose Ethan but in the end I finally fell in love with what Ollie & her had and I just wanted the ultimate happy ending. The love between them was a bit cringey at times but that may be because I’m not an over emotional person or someone who has experienced that type of love. With everything coming to the tipping point and finding out who the prankster was yeah I can say I definitely did not see that one coming AT ALL. Nearing the end I was thinking what could possibly be in book 3 life on the outside? Would Jake get his own book? Ethan? Although I’m reeling with that cliffhanger I need a few days to let the emotions pass that I endured with this book.

“I’d loved you in my darkest hour when I wasn’t myself, and I’ll love you in every lifetime after this.”

My review will be for all the books on a whole, but I will also mention specific things I did love about each book individually as well. Ollie and Mia will forever have my heart... they are the couple that completes my life. I have lost count on the number of times I find myself rereading scenes and passages from their books. I have never felt this deep of connection for two characters like i do for Ollie and Mia.
Book two shines so much light on what these characters have to overcome, it shows more of Ollies struggles, since we do start getting his POV here. Book one was more of Mia's internal struggles and realizing she is capable of love, and worthy to be loved.
full review to come.

This series is everything
I can't help but fall in love with this series so far. I'm team Ollie all the way. Nicole has done it again reeling my emotions in falling in love with the characters. The story is so captivating I took my time reading this series. It felt surreal every chapter and every word written I wanted to truly involve myself in it. I can't wait to dive into the final book.

Why did this end like this.. I loved the first book but this had a bunch of unnecessary things happening. Let Mia catch a break oh my godddd. I don’t know if I want to read the third book tbh I might pretend that Mia and Ollie got their hea in this book.
Not going to lie that plot twist did surprise me but then it ended up confusing me lol. Idk
