4 stars. it was a good read. i can tell that things are getting a lot more interesting, and percy is maturing a lot.

my fav quotes/moments.

-

‘Free him!’ Luke ordered. ‘He is our host!’

I uncapped Riptide. ‘I’ll free him.’

-

I turned to Dionysus. ‘You cured him?’

‘Madness is my speciality. It was quite simple.’

‘But… you did something nice. Why?’

He raised an eyebrow. ‘I am nice! I simply ooze niceness, Perry Johansson. Haven’t you noticed?’

‘Uh-’

-

‘Percy, lesser beings do many horrible things in the name of the gods. That does not mean we gods approve. The way our sons and daughters act in our names… well, it usually says more about them than it does about us. And you, Percy, are my favourite son.’

He smiled, and at that moment, just being in the kitchen with him was the best birthday present I ever got.
