I loved the first book in this series and liked this one. It's sweet, entertaining but a bit repetitive at times.
I liked the fleshed out characters, rooted for them, and the setting.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

I didn't love London's character in Spark House book 1 but I decided to give this story a try because I really did adore her sisters and the life they'd created and the bond they shared. I found London to be so much more tollerable in Starry-Eyed Love, really growing on me over the course of the read. I found the slow burn romance between her and the MMC to be quite believable and super sweet. They clearly had chemistry and were trying their hardest to hold back while they maintained a professional relationship. His CEO status and bazillion dollar empire never really effected their authentic feelings for one another, which I appreciated.

The deep dive into the innerworkings of Spark House gave a greater understanding of exactly how much pressure the 3 sisters were under and I quite liked it when things finally boiled over and feelings were hurt. Harley and London had let Avery run the show and walk all over them for too long! It was nice to see them finally stand up for what THEY needed/wanted!

The plot twist was a little weak and the 3rd act break up was pretty ridiculous. But I did love the fact that for once, it really wasnt either MC who had to do some groveling (no spoilers, sorry!). The end of the book redeemed itself and I was so happy for a HEA. Now lets get to Harley's story because I cannot wait to see her get her HEA!

I won this book from a goodreads giveaway. I do really enjoy Helena Huntings books, especially the Pucked, All In, and the Clipped sings series.
This story starts out with London out with her sisters turning down a date from a hot guy at a bar. Fast forward she finds out he’s a potential business partner and she’s left feeling awkward and concerned that he will sabotage her business dealings.
Jackson is not typically interested in women but when he meets London, things begin to change.
As their business ventures start to get tangled they have to figure out the lines between business and pleasure and navigate friends and family and relationships.
Easy to read enjoyable book. I didn’t read the first book in this series and didn’t feel like anything was missing.

I love London. She is the business side of the Spark House that she owns and runs with her sisters, however, that isn’t her dream. London is also extremely creative and crafty and you can feel the passion she has for creating. Jackson is a millionaire, but he is also pretty down to earth and doesn’t love to flaunt his wealth unless it is to help someone. London and Jackson cross paths shortly after a break up for London and she turns down Jackson. Neither of them thought their paths would cross again….

While this was a slow burn, I loved the build up. I love that you could feel the chemistry between London and Jackson and seeing them connect the more and more time they spent together and just got to talking about their lives. However, also the fact that they are working together kind of puts a damper on taking things further.

There were a lot of ups and downs when it came to London and Jackson and a whole lot of misunderstandings. You could feel the emotions and the pain that these two were feeling throughout the story and also the joy.

I love the bond that London has with her sisters, Avery and Harley. Besides their grandma they are all the family they have. They may not always see eye to eye, but they are protective of each other and will always be there for each other.

If you’re looking for a slow burn, workplace, rom com check this one out.

London Spark, along with her two sisters, own and operate an event hotel called Spark House. After breaking up with her boyfriend, the sisters are spending a night out celebrating, when London is approached by an attractive man who pays for their drinks and tries to give her his number. Despite the fact that she technically was single, London declines, and returns to enjoying their night out.

Fast forward a few months and a large company reaches out to Spark House about a potential collaboration. London attends the pitch meeting, where the CEO, Jackson Holt, surprises them by interrupting and sitting in the meeting. This is when London realizes that Jackson is the guy from that night out that she denied! Clearly taking an interest in more than just Spark House, Jackson in more hands on with London and this project than ever before. In an effort to keep things professional during the initial project, several bumps are hit along the road.

What a great book! Despite being in a series, I think that this book could be read as a standalone. 5 out of 5 stars.

Thank you St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for an advanced copy for honest review.

I absolutely loved this book so much the whole family dynamic and the romance!
London just broke up with her boyfriend, he wanted long term and she couldn’t picture that with him. The last thing she was looking for was a new relationship. Having a girls night at the local bar she turns down the handsome stranger who offers her his phone number. Fast forward three months later , and her family hotel is being offered a sponsorship from a multi million dollar company, and her jaw drops to the floor the man from the bar is the CEO of the company Jackson Holt. Soon they find themselves working closely together and they can’t deny the sparks between them. Jackson is determined to keep their relationship professional he doesn’t like to mix business and pleasure. As they grow closer and about to take the next step a secret from Jackson’s past is about to threaten their future, and London’s relationship with her sisters and their business may just be to much. I truly enjoyed this book, I adored Jackson and London. Four stars!
