I wish it ended differently, happily.

I adored this book! Such a brilliant idea for a story. I liked the characters and I would have loved to have had a sequel because it felt unfinished. This was a library read I immediately bought because I knew I had to read it again.

This was not exactly what I was expecting out of this story. It was a sweet love story that with the cruelty of one man's actions tempted it's destruction. I hope that David and Andrea continue the story of this invisible couple.

3.5 stars :) The problems I had with this book was the insta love and I wish the authors went more in depth with Stephen and Elizabeth connecting- it was way too fast! The plot was interesting, just a few holes in the mix. But other than that, a fun read!

Unique and at the same time overdone. I enjoyed reading this book and it actually seemed like two separate books and stories trying to be crammed together. The invisible boy/visible girl love story and then the supernatural story where we find out the cause and try to fix it. It took me a bit to get used to be thrown into what felt like a different type of story.

I was okay with the romance side! I wanted to see where it led! Then all of the sudden, we are thrown casters with some magical revenge plot? Eh!?

In the end, kinda cool though. It makes more sense since our main question is kinda, how can she see him?

It was so good! And the Doctor Who reference!!! It was really well developed I loved how their POVs are so different that after reading 4 chapters you can open to a random page in the book and know whose POV it is.

I have loved David Levithan's collaborations with other authors, but this one just fell flat. The alternating voices of Stephen and Elizabeth didn't work, and their voices never rang true to me. I came away with the impression that someone else had said, "Hey, you two should write a story together!" and neither author's heart was really in it. Meh.

I had gotten this book from my mom for my birthday, and i was a little shaky on reading it at first. Not sure if i wanted to read or not, but i finally decided i have to read it or i'll never get to it and it will just collect dust in my room. And well this book just didn't do anything for me, the concept behind it was good but other than that a dead end for me.

Invisibility is about a boy named Stephen who is well invisible. No one has ever seen him before, not even his own mother. Until one day a new family moves next door to him and the daughter, Elizabeth, can see him. Never had been seen before Stephen doesn't know what to do. But soon Stephen and Elizabeth begin falling in love, and along the way they try to break the curse that was put on Stephen before he was even born.

Like i said before there was a good concept behind it, i mean come he's invisible, not everyday i read about about invisible people. The first 100 pages were probably they best, to me it almost seemed like a sad romantic, not a huge fan of that but was gonna try. Then all of a sudden it took a turn for the weird and next thing you know curses and strange people start showing up. It kinda lost me at that point.

The character i didn't really care for. I like Laurie, and at time i like Stephen. But i just didn't like Elizabeth, she rubbed me the wrong way. At first i was OK with her, she didn't bug me she was just there. Then the farther i got into the book, the more i began to dislike her, and by the end i just wanted to skip all the chapters that were her point of view. She really bugged me.

Its not that this was a bad book, it just wasn't my book. But hey if you like invisible boys, curses, and forbidden love give it a shot.
