This is such a wonderful feel-good book. This story was like a hug in the best of ways. While the narrator was NOT my cup of tea, once I got used to his style I loved every second of listening to this. <3

This book was really cute and reminded me so much of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.

I love this book so much. It is such a lovely little book. I laughed out loud and I cried (because of its cuteness) which are rare for me. I love all the characters, especially Chauncey and Lucy. The loveliest kids of all but honestly they are all so lovely. The level of cuteness that only Stitch and baby Grogu can emanate.

The book was written lovely and very clearly embraced the theme of found family and diversity as Arthur, Linus, and Zoe, and Helen too, obviously care about creating an environment for the children to be safe and well-developed as what they like best. I am aware of the fuzz behind this book that caused it many one-star review. Though I agree that art is a form of expression that would become more important to also embark reality. I don't think or get the feeling, while reading this book, that it emanates any disrespect or ill-intention towards the tragedy that was reported to inspire it. If any, the spirit of how to work with the consequences of that tragedy for the benefit of the children is what I get the book is trying to portray. And I think it could be a way to handle something as the tragedy. It could be the case that someone like this author should not be the person to execute this topic at the beginning, however, is that the point of cultural learning and sharing? And I am saying this as a non-white person from an ethnicity with many cultural clashed tragedies as well.

This could be a very normal light fantasy book without that one interviewed insight from the author and if it has been then it would be recognised more truly for what it is. It is a very nice book and a lovely read. And the theme it embraces and even its setups share similarities with so many other precedents such as Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and sometimes while reading I found the trio Arthur-Linus-Lucy even somewhat resembles Good Omens.
