I think The Dixon Rule has become my favourite book Elle Kennedy has ever written - or at the very least, it's snagged a permanent spot in my favourites of hers. I laughed, I cried, and awwed so many times. 

It was funny, heart breaking, and so cute.

I didn’t expect to love this as much as I did! Elle Kennedy delivers another addicting romance with The Dixon Rule, and I was hooked from page one. Diana and Shane’s chemistry is off the charts—the banter, the tension, the slow-burn perfection. Fake dating tropes always get me, but this one? Absolute gold.

What surprised me most was the emotional depth. There are some really heavy themes—domestic violence, grief—but they’re handled with so much care. My eyes? Just sweating the entire time. Still, the humor and swoon-worthy moments kept things perfectly balanced.

If you love fake dating, strong heroines, and a reformed player who falls hard, this one’s for you! Highly recommend. ✨💖

I didn't think I was going to like the two characters together but Elle Kennedy had me so invested in Diana and Shane -- also, this might be the kinkiest spice she's written to date? Either way, I laughed, cried, and really enjoyed The Dixon Rule.

I ate all of this up; the plot lines, the humor, the banter, the spice, all of it. There was some phenomenal character development and I loved the mental health representation throughout the book. Another phenomenal book from Elle Kennedy.

The banter is top notch and I honestly was expecting a funny rom com and then it got DEEEEP. And around 70-80% ish I was pummeled by the (see CW) and I was silly and didn’t look them up. 

The storyline is forced proximity/ fake dating but it’s much more than that and I was honestly surprised by the character development that came with the plot. 

Oh and the spice is spicy but like 2.5/3 🌶️🌶️
