The parts that were actually about Buddhism were interesting enough, but I would have liked to read more sutra passages rather than (1) dubious analogies between Buddhism and Christianity; (2) surface level speculation on synergy between Buddhist meditation and cognitive neuroscience; and (3) "isn't it interesting" credulous mention of reincarnation and past life regression. I know that reincarnation is part of Buddhist metaphysics but we can treat these things in a more NPOV way, I think.

Nothing more and nothing less than what was promised. A very short introduction to Buddhism. A few neat take aways, but definitely more of a textbook, which is to be expected.
