I need to stop torturing myself with this author. Grey’s inner dialogue reminded me of the guy from Reaching Reed, just can’t remember his name. Obviously it’s not Reed

The spice in this book was good, but good lord I wanted to punch Joshua in the face the whole time, and he wasn't even in the book much. Something about how the story actually played out kind of fell flat for me, but I enjoyed the two main characters.

“Best friend’s” dad?
This book was exactly what it needed to be. I love Quinn and Grey. I do think that the dynamic was well flushed and the dialogue and inner monologue was age appropriate for both men.
My only snag is that there really isn’t a relationship between Josh and Quinn until the very end. They’re supposed to be best friends but Quinn so easily brushes him off. They send one message to each other until Josh and Hailey show up? That’s not very BFF. I feel like their friendship could have been more flushed out in general. It seems more like Grey and Quinn were BFF’s and Josh was just a middle man

I absolutely loved Quinn’s inner monologue and his obsession with Grey. He was stuck him like glue.
Spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ but managed to still have a plot.

Full of angst and spice, it's a great read. It resolves a little quickly and I wanted more exploration with the mum, and to flesh out the characters a little.more.
