It’s unreal what this book has done to me. I was about 15% in and ready to never pick it up again, because Sera is insufferable. However, by the end, my jaw was on the floor. We got character development and growth, plot development, a little spice and more. There’s also plenty of action throughout, so you’re not left feeling like nothing starts happening until you hit 75% and onward. I’m glad I didn’t put this one down, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I adore the Flesh and Fire series soo much. I just pulled another all nighter and finished this book in a day. I adored reading and watching as Sera and Ash’s relationship grows and improves. How the people of the shadowlands love and accept her. I appreciated the twists that they threw in there.
I didn’t love the bringing back to life as much this book but it made more sense towards the end. Aka the draken + her friend. Glad they didn’t allow her to save both.
Cannot wait to start the next book and to finish the series.
