Words like lovely and beautiful and even stunning have been invented to describe women like her. She surpasses them all, even in her sleep.

Firstly, thank you to the author, J. Saman, and Valentine PR for allowing me to be an ARC reader for this amazing book! The story, the spice, and the characters were all so perfectly crafted that J. Saman is now one of my go-to authors.

The story is a forbidden romance, age-gap, engagement-of-convenience and all of these tropes worked so perfectly with one another that I am astounded at how it all came together.
Callan Barrow and Layla Atkins-Fritz meet each other after both having terrible days. Their instant chemistry makes for the perfect one-night-stand that they both agree to, and then they go their separate ways by morning. At least that's what they thought, until Callan turned out to be her new interim professor. Adding to that, she recently accepted an offer to work/intern at the local Emergency Room to work on her skills and further her knowledge - but it turns out that he is also one of her mentors here as well. But they can toooootally keep things professional between them, which is what they tell themselves knowing that fate has other ideas for them.

“I don’t know how to begin telling you what you mean to me. You’re mine.”

After a terrible accident, Callan finds himself fighting for custody of his niece after his brother suddenly passes. This proves to be a lot more difficult than he though - Callan is a single man and the eyes of the court do not take that lightly. Enter the brilliant idea that him and his friends come up with - an engagement of convenience. They both love the little girl, so it's a no brainer, but they need to set some rules in place before they play the part.

And then break all of those rules...

Every Superman needs a Lois Lane to save them.

The book was crack. The characters were so addicting and the dual POV was most definitely an added plus here! Go check out J. Saman's latest read, available now on KU!

YALLLLL….. this book has a CHOKEHOLD on me. Are you serious??! Professor/med student/one night stand/single-guardian wonderfulness.
The love that Callan has for his niece and for Layla was literally everything. This was so well done and I was swooning the entirety of the book.
(P.S. this man has a FILTHY mouth and I’m totally here for it)

I know I'm only the 6% to rate this book 3 stars. Honestly, after I sit on it for a bit, my review might change.

About 60% in, I was like kinda bored. Which surprised me, given how fast the relationship between the two of them started! There is so much push and pull! Callan wanted Layla, Layla didn't know what she wanted!

It made sense given her past and how young she was. But she would be all in, and then something would trigger her, and she would pull back. I just couldn't help but be nervous for Katy! But it just got boring after a bit, and I found myself skimming.

I adored Callan. He was transparent from the very beginning and so sweet! But for some reason, I really struggled to connect with his character.

Steamy with a great storyline, in Irresistibly Wild we get Callan’s story, and his love interest is none other than Layla from the Boston Billionaire Bachelors series. These two meet one night out when Layla has an unpleasant experience from some random guy that’s definitely inappropriately too much in the worst way and Callan comes to the rescue. Their night together is only meant to be one night, but it turns out that he's going to be her new professor. Then when things are further complicated by Callan becoming his niece’s guardian, Layla steps up and helps Callan out, but what happens when things go further than they anticipated?

Layla is such a feisty but loveable character, and she’s so perfect for Callan. And Callan? He’s just simply good but with this spicy edge to him which sort of makes him the perfect MMC. These two together have this phenomenal chemistry that I couldn’t get enough of, and the way their story flowed made it hard to put down.

Plus, I love that we got to revisit the Fritz’s. Their series is such a favorite of mine, and getting more of them in this book was great. They added this level of familiarity to the storyline that I loved seeing, and those parts helped further the plotline along. Really, the secondary cast of characters is part of what makes this book as awesome as it is for me, and I don’t think it would be the same without them popping in.

This is another must read in this series, and I loved everything about Callan and Layla’s story. The characters, chemistry, and plot all make for a phenomenal book, and I’m excited to see where this series goes next.

Dr Callan and Layla, a med student, make up the wild protagonists of Irresistibly Wild.

Synopsis
Dr Callan Barrows, the rockstar doctor, has to take up the mantle of being a teacher in a medical school after his mentor passes away. But with the bad news comes Layla, a breath of fresh air in his otherwise comparatively tedious life.

Now, Layla is in need of a wild night after having a bad day, when she stumbles upon a handsome stranger. Is it the beginning of something promising or just another roll in the hay?

Review
There are oodles of flirty goodness right at the very beginning of this story. The only book of the Boston's Billionaire Bachelors series I haven't yet read is Doctor Scandalous, so I don't know Meils as much as most of the other characters but I can't wait to find out more about Layla's older sister.

I loved all of Layla's quirks but especially her musing out loud, lol. I'm tempted to do that too.

Layla Atkins Fritz may have faced all that one can at only 23; she may be heartbroken but she knows how to move ahead in life.

It was fun though, to see the confident Layla all flustered when Callan asks her for...things.

I like how comfortable our protagonists are with each other. May God give me those powers in my life!

They both wanted one night only but aren't able to get over each other. And then they have to work together.

One thing that I have noticed and love about J. Saman's books is how easily she seems to make me believe in her characters, whether it be their attraction to each other or them eventually falling in love. It all seems so natural when I happen to know how tough writing can be most of the times.
I’m infatuated with her. Fascinated by her every thought. Enraptured by her every move. I’m wholly, completely, irrevocably cast under her spell.

With writing like that, how can you not swoon. Saman's heroes are my favourite. Especially how Callan is with his niece, considering their changed circumstances.

Since both the protagonists are doctors, be ready to cry buckets. Oh, how J. Saman takes your emotions to a crescendo before you can even think of allowing them to dissipate.

Callan is 31 and uber responsible after the recent losses he suffers in life, but he still wants Layla with all his heart. It was so endearing seeing this little family come together.

The situation might be different but I loved how the author drew parallels between the sisters Amelia and Layla.

Irresistibly Wild is a story where he falls first; it's hot and dirty and oh so forbidden. There's a rollercoaster of emotions, the book makes you cry and laugh and feel, so much.

There's an epilogue and bonus epilogues too.

I received this book as an ARC, thank you Valentine PR and J. Saman for this amazing opportunity.

Now, I am 100000% an emotional reader and I think I felt EVERY emotion reading this book. Callan is a doctor who "doesn't have time" for relationships and is very much your typical grumpy MMC and Layla is your typical sunshine FMC with big personality and idc attitude towards what people thing of her.

If you're a spicy book lover let me tell you this is a MUST read. The chemistry between Callan and Layla is INSANE from the jump as they meet in an awkward moment in a restaurant where Layla asks Callan to be her fake date to avoid a guy who doesn't take no for an answer, which leads to a night of steamy night of passion, assuming they'll never see each other again. Callan having just lost his mentor/close friend and Layla having just lost her favorite professor.
That is until Layla, a med student discovers that the person replacing her now deceased professor, is her infamous one night stand, he also works at the hospital she'll be interning at. They seem to be able to co-exist and move past that one night....
Until an accident at the hospital forces Layla to relive a traumatic experience in comforting a child who is the only survivor of an accident and losing both parents to discover that the child is none other than Callan's niece, who he's now become the sole provider for.
After a series of unfortunate mishaps with his niece's behavior, he discovers that his deceased sister-in-law's money hungry parents (who are trying to become the fiduciary guardians of the granddaughter they've never met) they're now trying for sole custody citing Callan as "unfit". On the suggestion of his friends he asks Layla (who his niece has bonded with) to be his fake fiancé while the court proceedings are happening so that he has a better chance of holding onto his niece and giving her the life she deserves. While both their feelings towards each other are obvious, Layla hesitates and then ultimately agrees, having realized that her sister essentially did the same thing when her parents died. Shortly after they begin this venture, the CPS worker pays them their first random visit which doesn’t go as well as they planned but they're able to communicate and move on. As they spend more time together the tension grows they realize they can act on their actions without making it a big thing because "its only temporary" (insert womp womp failure sound here lol).
Soon after, everything starts to crumble, their affair is made public with the school and the lies start to crumble around them. However, its soon discovered, thanks to Callan's super sleuth hacker friend, that the CPS worker was being paid off by the Grandparents and this isn’t the first time, apparently she's been taking bribes for years because she "can't survive on her salary". In light of this and despite the "fake" engagement, Layla and Callan both express to the Judge that they actually do love each other and want to be together, the Judge then awards Callan custody of his niece and Layla officially moves in for good as they start their life as one big happy family.

Let me just tell you, the writing, the chemistry, the story line and the spice....its just all AMAZING in this book!

I am such a single dad romance girly. Callan is such a MAN in the sense he is not a boy in the slightest and we love that. He is kind, sweet, observant, caring and literally just everything. Layla and Calla are the perfect match! They both so care so much about each other and Katy. Callan is so sweet and does everything in his power to make Katy’s life a good life no matter what he might have to endure! This book was filled with ups and downs, lust, and trust. It was absolutely amazing!

Irresistibly Wild is the third book in the Irresistibly Your series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Callan and Layla meet and there’s insta-lust. They had a one-night stand and went their separate ways. That is until they see each other again in the classroom…but he’s her professor. Not only that, but she has an internship at the hospital and has to work with him there.

The sparks between them are explosive. But they can’t be together because he’s her professor AND her superior at work. Yet, they just can’t stay away from each other. Then tragedy strikes and reminds Layla of her childhood. It also puts Callan in the position of being a father, but to gain custody, he needs to have a wife, so he ends up asking Layla to fake date him.

This book was so good. Callan fell first, and he fell hard. He was respectful of her wishes and knew that she was scared of being in a relationship, especially since it wasn’t exactly “right” for them to be together. But when it came down to it, he didn’t lie to anyone about his feelings.

And while Callan was so kind and swoony, he was very different in the bedroom. In the office? That scene…whew.

Anyway, I loved this book and can’t wait to read the next one!
