This book was everything and left me with all the feels. The boy who lost Hope turns out to be the one to save Hope! Hopeless is a story of love, unimaginable pain, great strength and resilience.

Imagine for 13 years you believe you were adopted only to run into a boy who thinks he knows you from his past and turns your world completely upside down. All the while falling deeply in love and learning your past has the most unimaginable darkest secrets and the one person you trusted most is the one that has lied to you for the last 13yrs of your life. Well that's exactly how Sky a.k.a Hope finds her true identity and the secrets of her past that her mind has locked away to help protect her.

This book was tense, emotional, and completely riveting I couldn't put it down but most of all it was a story that came full circle and left me feeling inspired that no matter what life throws at you to continue to get back up!

This book should have a trigger warning list.

I was waiting for Holden to hit her the entire book, and waiting for “Sky” to realize that she wasn’t experiencing lust for the first time but fight or flight.

I then got to page 149 where something sinister comes to light and couldn’t read this book word for word anymore. I don’t know if it says something about the predictability but I was able to skip absolute chapters without missing a single important thing.

Trauma as a plot device seems sloppy but I’m not an author.
