No major plot points but really enjoyable to read, a chance to see more of some really beloved characters.

When Star Wars Rebels was released in 2014, the merch was strong! We had 3 3/4 action figures, a John Jackson Miller novel, and Kanan: The Last Padawan comics! Amidst some cool t-shirts, LEGO, party paperware, and all the merch that new Star Wars things warranted back then!
Ah… we were royalty…
There was also an international Star Wars Rebels magazine that had its own comic strips inside. I watched and waited… patiently I might add, and was rewarded when Dark Horse finally released this collection!
This graphic novel is a great comic anthology featuring not only the Rebels crew but lots of the guest characters from the show. The stories span from seasons one through four, the tone and art change throughout, and the collection is perfect for any Star Wars Rebels fan! love anthologies and this is no exception. The Ghost crew are here on all kinds of unseen adventures and plenty of other favorites show up! I’m talking, Ketsu Onyo, Kitwarr, Mart Mattin, and even Saw Gerrera!
If you, like me, are missing your Star Wars Rebels you should definitely pick up this collection! It’s a great way to catch up with the crew we’ve been missing (#WheresEzra) since the series finale back in 2018. The art is gorgeous and the stories build on many of the themes from the series.
This is a must-read for any Star Wars Rebels fan!

For me, the official Star Wars canon is the original trilogy, Rogue One/Andor and Rebels. Nothing else is necessary. So it was fantastic to discover this 500-page collection of Rebels comics that I had no idea existed. This book includes forty-one short vignettes that feature the Ghost crew and nearly ever character that made a brief appearance during the series (VIzago, Lando, Mart, Wedge, Ketsu, Sato, Fenn Rau, Saw, and others). There are brief moments with Kallus and the Grand Inquisitor, but most of the stories avoid anything that would get in the way of the major plotlines in the series, which I think is a good choice. The artwork is fun, and the stories are all at a very young-reader level that feels appropriate for the medium and the original series. Everything has the feel of the old newspaper and Marvel Star Wars comics.
Because I’m always missing the Rebels series, and because there has been so little extra material related to these characters (and no, I don’t need them to appear in live-action series on Disney+), having this book on my bedside table to dip into every now and then has been a real comfort.

RIP that Imperial trainee who went to Alderaan. There was some sad stuff in these comics where I didn't expect to see it.
