This is probably my favourite volume of the series so far, which is funny cause there's no Jessica in this one, but hey. A certain character, who I didn't know was back from the dead showed up, which was a pleasant surprise. Over-all this series continues to be a fun jaunt with stellar art. Four stars.

Cheesy art and a little annoying. And the writing was similar. And the use of Jessica was limited and clumsy. And the idea behind the book was kind of simple and lame. But as a simple one shot teamup book it was pretty good, readable and fun. Just not the kind of thing I like. And lots of combat. And the silly pop references especially in the quantity used really didn't add anything good.

Not a bad book. Lot's of good parts. A bit too much overlap with the netflix series. And Black Cat is wrong. And I don't quite buy Alex Wilder in this book. But Luke and Danny come across pretty well. The book ran just a little too long and slow. And didn't have nearly enough use of positive side characters. So could have been better. 3.5 of 5.

I don't particularly like the art. And the tie in to Civil War II is clearly a negative. And the book is kind of a lightweight. And I'm not sure I agree with the way this captures Luke Cage. But it's a fun enjoyable book. And one of the better Civil War II tie-ins. And even the Christmas story works. 3.5 of 5.

Had a real retro vibe and a lot of jokes about these two characters. It was a fun read but could have had more substance.

HOLY FIDDLE-FADDLE -POWER MAN AND IRON FIST ARE BACK TOGETHER! This book was down right fun and hilarious through every page. This was my first time reading about the duo and I'm really glad I started with this run. David Walker makes this read so fun and entertaining, its a nice break from some of the more serious stories in comics. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm game for some complex story lines with deeper meaning, but this was a nice change of pace. Just straight up entertainment. Walker writes amazing chemistry with Luke and Danny making their dialogue flow so perfect, which in turn makes the story a real page turner. Like I also mentioned this story was laugh out loud funny. (Did I really say that?) It was for sure some of the funniest stuff I've read. The artwork by Sanford Greene is a superb fit with the vibe and feel for the story. I just loved it! Even the colors from Lee Loughridge made it an all around perfect package. I'd love to see this as a show. But not like a Disney+ live action MCU kinda thing, but an animated Adult Swim kinda property. With the same kinda comedy and all around fun. I only hope the next 3 volumes keep the same uniformity of the first one, as it does appear they are event tie-ins. I'm sure with David F. Walker, he can think of a way to keep it awesome.

This series continues to be hilarious and entertaining. I was a bit worried with this being an event tie-in that it would mess the flow of the story. For the most part the story keeps its same feel however some of the plot from 'Civil War 2' did make it seem forced. I'm sure it wasn't Walker's fault but more of editorial. I haven't read 'Civil War 2' so there are somethings I'm lost on but with small bits of info, Walker makes sure to leave enough to make the story enjoyable. The artwork is taken over by
F Flaviano and I really liked it. It's in the similar style of Greene's so the feel of the book was the same. Not as enthralling as the first vol. however still very fun and entertaining.

Really liked this final volume of a series that deserves way more love. The last 5 issues went back to focusing on Luke and Danny and their main objective of watching over the streets as the Heroes for Hire! There was a lot of turf war stuff going around as well as a new baddie in town with a device able to change anybody's criminal record. Nifty to bribe people of getting a wiped record but also very scary to get blackmailed by. There also is some crazy street magic going on as the title insists (read to find out what that is). And all around it was a fun read. David F. Walker wrote Luke and Danny really great, and captured their friendship in a funny and beautiful way. The cast is great and the bad guys, although not A-list villains, still shined and made formidable foes. I mentioned this before but, this was my first time reading a Power Man and Iron Fist comic, so I can personally say this is a great starting off point. Hat's off to Walker for that. Sanford Greene finishes the run as well and his art is just as fun and great as before. If you want a quick quality Marvel read, do yourself a favor and pick these 3 volumes up!

For the most part, this was a good one! Thanks for the recommendation, Anne!

There was some good humor and fun puns all around. Plus, I liked the team up between these two. Throughout most of this, I felt like Iron Fist/Danny Rand played the comic relief, which is great, but it seems to add a different layer to the story than I'm used to seeing. After reading the first run of Iron Fist in the Marvel Premiere series, this is definitely a different style of character. I still love Luke Cage and it was fun to see the portrayal of his relationship with Jessica Jones.

Overall, this was a fun, quick read. Worth the time and some good laughs! I also appreciated that the "villains" weren't straight-forward 1- or 2-dimensional characters. It helped provide a nice nuance that isn't always there.

Plus, I got my new tablet in the mail yesterday and reading comics on Marvel Unlimited on a 10-inch screen makes a world of difference from previously using my phone.

So I LOVE Luke Cage and Danny Rand (especially Danny, but Luke is also amazing). So this was FANTASTIC keep it coming please thanks.

I just really hope that they have the same dynamic in the Netflix series. Please. That's literally all I want.
