It has been a couple of days since I finished this book now, so now I feel ready to write a review.

Ella, oh Ella. That poor girl. I have to be honest, I had seen it coming, her relation to Setrakus Ra. Didn't make it easier to "deal" with though.
Five. I didn't think, at the end of FoF and all the Lost Files, it would be possible for me to actually feel sorry for him. But boy do I feel sorry for him. I was so happy he apologised to Eight - although Eight was dead and all that, while knowing Six, Seven and Nine could see and hear him. And then he let them have Eight's body! That and him trying to help Ella escape did a lot to redeem him in my eyes. Including how he tried to help the Garde in the battle at the end of the book.

Seven and Six, they're my babes! Pretty much everything we should be teaching girls to be - Independent, strong etc. And are we going to talk about the Seven/Eight kids?!?!

Nine, I just love him! For a while I was so scared he'd die!

I still feel utterly annoyed with Four and Sarah. Sam on the other hand is sooo great. And can we talk about the ending - DID SAM JUST GET LEGACIES?! WHO ELSE HAVE GOTTEN LEGACIES?!?! I hope Mark has!

Finally, Adam. My favourite Mogadorian! I loved how he interacted with the rest of the Garde, some of them weary, some not but eventually they all seem - at least to me - to accept him. More so after the events at Sanctuary!

Overall the book was fast paced and action packed like the rest of the series. I can't give this book anything other than 5/5 stars.
I cannot wait for the next book!

I can't even describe how relieved I am for ~finally~ finishing this book! I've been reading so many books for college this semester that I wasn't able to finish a single book for my own leisure in months. I started this one in June (June!). I'm so glad I finally finished this one in particular. And even more glad because I'll be able to write a review about it, yet another thing I haven't done in a while.
Anyway, back to the topic. I was pretty disappointed with the previous book of the series' ending, so I wasn't sure if I was going to keep reading the next books. Pity, because I enjoyed all the other books immensely. In The Fall of Five,
SpoilerI lost my beloved Eight, one my favorite characters in the series. That caused Marina (another one of my faves) to change her personality drastically, which didn't help at all for me. Not to mention the thing with Five being a traitor, Ella being Setrákus Ra's granddaughter and so on...
. But, thanks to destiny or something, I happened to find The Revenge of Seven at a book fair and decided to buy it. I don't even know why, I just did. And honestly, I'm glad I did. I don't know if it was because the book I was reading before this one was really boring (The Elite by Kiera Cass, in case you're wondering), but I'd forgotten the descriptions were so detailed in this series. It's not too detailed (to the point of wanting to skip them to the "good parts"), but it's detailed enough for the readers to imagine the scenery and the characters, see what they're seeing and feel what they're feeling. I really liked this.
And the story is also really good! I kept wanting to know what was going to happen. And, to my relief, some of the things that bothered me in the previous book were addressed in this one, showing change or explaining it. That was what I liked the most about it. Not to mention
Spoilerthe amazing cliffhanger they left for Sam, also one of my faves
. Now I can't wait to read the next one! The reason why I didn't give it 5/5 stars was
Spoilerthe first chapters, during which I still disliked Marina's new personality. And, of course, the romance, which is always off in any book for me
. Still, 4/5 it is! It's really good and I recommend it.

Lengthy and boring sometimes but there came a point where the action stuff enlivened it a bit.

So much better than the Fall of Five.

It's a little slow to start with but the events in this book are Lorien Legacy-verse changing. I can't wait for the next one.

Also, the last two or three lines... Superb! You need to read the entire book to understand how that could happen, but it is some game changer!

"Skyscrapers burn."

Can't wait for the next one!

Oy, so I've been continually listening to these books. I just finished The fate of Ten, and can't for the life of me differentiate between the two books. BUT, this was good like the other so far! Great review right?

Things got ugly. I’ve started to realise that this author really tries to aim for realism verging on pessimism and that likely drags out all the hope and emotion out of the book for me. With each book I’ve started caring less and less about each character because if it’s that easy for them to just die, then what’s the point of rooting for them in the first place?

This book series is not appreciated enough! It's fast paced and filled with sarcasm and wit, badass females and really interesting powers. I am absolutely loving this series and cannot wait to read the last two books!
The only reason that this book lost a star from me was because Marina didn't seem to get her revenge? The entire book was supposed to be about her yet she didn't even get a POV. I found that rather strange but there was still loads of action and character development and Nine never fails to make me laugh. I think that I am even beginning to like Five. I never thought I would say that, given the ending of The Fall of Five.

But the only thing I can say for the last two books is that BK AND NINE BETTER NOT DIE, OKAY? I don't think I would be able to function.

Blitzing the rest of this series finally! This one was good. Not a lot of revenge and I am getting pretty tired of Sarah and Four and also Sam, but Nine is *fire emojis* as always. Terrible place to end it, though. Like, not even a cliffhanger. Just 'well, I'm kind of tired of writing this one so I'll be done now.' It was weird. ANYWAY, my cousin wants me to read the novellas before I go on, so I'm starting those now even though I'm not a novella girl. See you on the flippity flip!
