Everyone who either owns or runs a business needs to read this book. If every company were run like Patagonia, the world would be a happier place.

I enjoyed reading this book until I just couldn’t read anymore. It reads like a textbook so don’t let the small page count fool you. This is something to skim when you want to venture off and learn something about business. I thought it was interesting to hear the perspective of a person who was more of a free spirit turned business man. This is autobiographical so naturally incredibly biased towards his own company. I did still have more respect for Patagonia after reading more about it.

Not sure if I would recommend to my friends but I would recommend for those studying business, marketing, or environmental science.

Great example of a very clearly defined company culture. Unfortunately, he gets too preachy and too ani-establishment by the end of the book.
