Congrats to Jenn on her first release! This was such an awesome story. I love that Tesa takes Tori under her wing. I feel like Tori would have been stuck in her situation a lot longer if she didn’t have someone to confide in and give her courage. She’s the best BFF a person could ask for. I love the different POV’s. It gives you so much more insight to how everyone is feeling as they all go through their adventure into finding each other. I love the vibe and connection between Miguel, Link, and Greg and how they all depend on each other.

This first half was spectacular and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

-RH & M/M action
-Crazy stalker
-Amazing BFF
-Finding out they’re so much stronger than they thought

I was loving everything about this book up until halfway and then the end. One of the biggest issues I had was the repetitive nicknames. There was absolutely no reason for that. I love how the story was unfolding. Though I found tori to be naive at times and downright stupid on others, her character growth had me rooting for her. Tesa is an amazing friend! Even after that ending, Tesa is still ride or die. Now the reason I absolutely hate this book now is that ending. I'm sorry no fucking way are the guys that fucking stupid, especially Link!!!! Like come the fuck on! They believed that horse shit. So yeah because that ending made absolutely no sense this book does not get the 4 star rating it originally was going to get. Will I read book 2? Yes because I want tori whole and happy. Hopefully not with the 3 guys until some major groveling

There were some intriguing parts but there was also a lot of inconsistency, pacing issues, and kind of a weird situation contrived to make a cliffhanger happen.

What an amazing book that was so hard to put down it had me on the edge of my seat. This book comes with triggers so read them before reading, because the fmc does deal with a toxic relationship from a former ex that's a real pos, but don't worry he gets his and his lil helper to...just not right now lol. This book does talk about an abusive past with one of the friends that will break your heart, because sometimes it's not always a female who's being abused that sometimes it's a male, those are the one's that you never hear about who suffer in silence.

Victoria "Tori" has my dream job of being able to read and get paid for it lol she’s an editor of a book publishing company she loves her job, but she's keeping a secret about her boyfriend that she feels to shameful to tell anyone especially her bff Tesa who's also a coworker. Tesa invites her for a girl's night and they end up going to a club where she meets Miguel, Tesa's brother who happens to also live next door to her with 2 of his best friend's Greg and Link. The sexy times these 4 get up to is

I'd totally be friends with this girl

Our FMC is a recovering abuse victim, and my heart bled for her for so much of this book. I loved how she was accepted so quickly into he guys’ group and her ride-or-die bestie was perfect. Her job as a developmental editor made me giggle, since I’m sure everyone who reads this will be avid readers like myself and we can all relate on some level to what she was put through. I look forward to seeing how this story develops in future books, and watching her (as well as the guys) recover from their pasts.

Great debut from Jenn Bullard! This book had a lot of spice, a lot of angst and an epic cliffhanger! It deals with some issues that might be hard for some people to read so be sure to check those trigger warnings.

I really enjoyed the chemistry between the FMC, Tori, and her guys and there is M/M within the harem which is always a plus for me!

I didn’t love Tori as an FMC- I found her to be a bit immature- but I think a lot of that comes from her being sheltered in her relationship for so long and I look forward to seeing more character development from her in the next book.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read. The ending definitely had me ready to throw my kindle so I am dying for the next one! I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for the next book!

Oh Jenn, you evil, evil woman!!

I'll admit that I read this AFTER The Darkest Nights, so I was already familiar w some of the characters and her writing style.

Things you need to know about this writer: she LOVES to make you fall for the characters, and then torture you with them (sometimes while torturing the characters). If you THINK you see a plot hole - that just means you need to keep reading (i.e.: see statement about torture).

And I love to keep coming back for more!!

Okay, so I've given this a 3.5 stars. It would have been more because the writing is fantastic. You're drawn in from the start and I could barely put it down but honestly? The ending kind of ruined it for me. Spoilers ahead:

I found it completely unbelievable and here's why. Continuously throughout the book the guys are shown constant evidence of Anthony's abuse, he attacked her in the club with bruises covering her back and neck. He's constantly sending her threats, managed to avoid the cops because they know he's dirty, they know he had cameras inside their house recording her without her consent and they constantly dealing with her panic attacks etc. Yet a few photographs (taken before they broke up and without her knowledge) are given to them along with a note that claims she's been fucking him behind their back the whole time and they call her a whore, say that she deserved the abuse, asked for it even, isn't a victim blah blah and kick her out? No. That's a complete 180. For starters Link has dealt with an abusive partner who manipulated both him and his friends he should be the first to doubt it. Greg owns a security company and is a contracted killer who has done a deep dive check on him and admitted in one of his POV chapters that he needs to die. Yet he's throwing the photos at her and telling her to fuck off? I'm sorry but even if there was another note that threatened her if they didn't do it i still wouldn't believe they'd do what they did. I'm assuming the cop who shows up in the end is Griff but it's not actually said so there could be the angle that its bait for Anthony but again i don't believe they'd do that not unless they knew he was somehow recording them but still I don't believe it when Greg is for all intents and purposes a mercenary and wouldn't be threatened (physically) by Anthony - he's no match. They're supposed to be several years older than her and have dealt with all of this before with Link. They're aware she's had suicidal thoughts, depressed, having panic attacks and anxiety attacks and even if it's bait or whatever to go ahead and do that knowing it would trigger her? They literally drover her to her accident. Its a really bad storm they've told her to leave both houses and not come back so of course she will get in the car, it's dark, she's mid panic/anxiety attack plus devastated that is pretty much a guarantee she'd have a car accident - either on purpose or accidentally...

So I'm confused on how to feel about this story, and the characters. I give it 3.5 ⭐️'s so 4 for rounding it up. The fmc was wishy washy with her feelings for guys. I understand her trauma but it didn't feel right to me. Then that ending with guys
