To put it kindly, this book was awful. No offense (pun intended). I wish I had stopped when it wasn’t connecting with me at the beginning but I had hopes it might get better. It didn’t.

I really enjoyed the Heather Wells series written by Cabot but this was not enjoyable - the dialogue didn’t seem real, the two main characters were just suddenly in love after not liking one another....and Molly? Franky the worst part of the book. She was judgmental and constantly meddling/interfering in police investigations. She also has no character development or characterization other than she’s a librarian - she loves books. At one point we are told she is wearing a scarf - printed with books of course (as if a librarian is not allowed to wear any other print)!

Overall, not an enjoyable read at all - one dimensional characters, stereotypes galore and the ending? Yeesh.

The second book of the series, this one also added a mystery complex which was nice.

Generally a light, charming rom-com. I wish there were more chemistry between the H & h.

I actually loved the first book of this series which was No Judgements. These books have bitten the bug for all of my chick lit romance books that I already have that have been around before romantic comedy books recently became popular.

No Offense was the second book in this new series and I absolutely love the small town feel. I have been to Key West Florida and I pictured this town to be like that. I love how the community was knit tight and I loved all of the secondary characters. I even liked the two main characters, but maybe not the romance part. The romance felt a little bit flat to me, which was sad because I thoroughly enjoyed the first book.

I still loved the fact that Molly was a librarian though and I loved Elijah. He was one of my favorite characters. I liked the sheriff still and how everybody knew him and his daughter.

This book was a three star rating, but that means that it was still good for me! A three star rating doesn’t mean that the book was bad. I will definitely still be continuing the series if there’s more books after these. I hope there will be more!

Molly Montgomery is the children’s librarian at the small Floridian library in Little Bridge. One April morning she finds an abandoned baby in the restroom, the young Sheriff John Hartwell is smitten with her but gets off on the wrong foot over the baby. This was a cute fun romance, with lots of books thrown in. I enjoyed the crime aspect too. It was great for helping with a slump I have been in.
