This wasn't my favorite in the series. It took me a long time to get into Meg's story, I felt like the story dragged. At 50% I was losing interest but by 60% it was picking up with action on the mystery portion of the book. Her romance had heat but there wasn't much to it, not a lot of build up or angst. I missed the Alliance portion of the series and the other characters. I loved Michael's story and am glad he got (a version of) a HEA. I do love this series and if you do too you should read it. It could almost be a standalone read. Despite not loving it, I can't wait for the next one.

**My thanks to NetGalley and the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

I really do love it when I can get my hands on the latest goings on in this series and this edition is another knock-out read.

First of all, can I say that Michael is again one of the foreground characters of friends and I would completely kill for a novella in regards to his HEA. The amount of times that he has stepped in and helped or just been there as a friend really shows how sweet he is and I completely love him.

In regards to our two main characters Meg is Judy's best friend and is helping to run Alliance and when she hears of an Island Resort that only goes by word of mouth. Her interest is gained. Especially as it is a place where the paparazzi are not allowed, so she thinks the place would be perfect for the Alliance customers.

Valentino Masini owns the Island Resort in question and lives there with his mother and his sister Gabriella. The Italians are welcoming, but Valentino is very quickly taken with Meg and her sharp wit.

It is not the reluctance of the characters that stops the two coming together, but circumstances on the island change where there is a situation that arises that has never happened on the island before and all the characters end up fighting for their lives as well as their reputations.

We get a good introduction into one of the main character in the the next book with Gabriella, and therefore we will understand why she will find it so much harder to trust men and the ordeal that she has gone through.

I am very sad to realise that there is only one book left in there series and would completely love it if we could introduce new days in the week, just in order that this series can continue.

If you have not read any of the books in this series, they can be read as a stand alone, however I would really recommend that you read the entire series, simply because they are fantastic.

Maybe it was just me, but this one was awful. The only thing I liked about it was Michael's story....and we hardly even got any of it.

A secret secluded island - the perfect place to get away and no one to know. A place for affairs, celebrities, or just quiet getaways. Val runs the island and screens everyone thoroughly. Meg takes a trip to the island with Michael to see how secure it really is and if it would be a fit for Alliance couples. Add some mystery wine, random photos that shouldn’t have been able to be taken, and a search for answers. Meg, Val and the “team” search for answers.

Seduced by Sunday was very tense, because a lot of both new and old secrets floated to the surface - unbeknownst to those implicated. The love story was awesome, and the suspense part had me holding my breath.

Seduced by Sunday is the sixth installment in Catherine Bybee's enchanting Weekday Brides series. A lush tropical setting is the beginning of the romance for Meg Rosenthal and Valentino Masini but an intriguing mystery also takes the pair to the vineyards of Italy.

When Meg learns about a secluded location that could be a perfect fit for the clientele of the company she works for, she knows she has to investigate to see if it lives up to its stellar reputation. She, along with good friend (and über famous) Michael Wolfe, make plans to spend a week checking out the resort. Valentino (Val) is dead serious about protecting the privacy of his guests so he and Meg get off on the wrong foot when he is slow to grant her access to the island. Meg's anger quickly turns to attraction when she finally meets the very handsome and sexy Val, but she is not looking for love. He is also drawn to Meg, but since she is there with Michael, Val keeps his distance from the sultry beauty. But it soon becomes clear that someone is violating the guests' privacy and in order to protect Michael's privacy, Meg and Val team up to get to the bottom of the mystery and things begin to heat up between the couple.

Meg is extremely loyal to her friends and the company she works for. She is also feisty and quite fierce about protecting the people she cares about. She is a bit suspicious that the island is not quite as safe from prying eyes as everyone believes but when things appear to be on the up and up, she begins to relax her guard. She is quickly charmed by Val's sister Gabriella (Gabi) and his mother and she is thrilled to meet blues legend, Jim Lewis. Meg is a little dazzled by Val but she has absolutely no intention of beginning a romance with him.

Val is a shrewd businessman and the success of his island retreat hinges on providing complete and total privacy for his guests. They, along with his employees, are thoroughly vetted and he has yet to have a breach in security. But soon after Meg and Michael arrive, he begins receiving seemingly innocuous photos of him, Meg and Michael. When all remains quiet in the media, Val cannot fathom the motive for the pictures, but he quietly begins an investigation. However when Meg learns about the pictures, she jumps into action to keep Michael out of the limelight.

After Michael and Meg return to their regular lives, puzzling information about Gabi's fiancé, Alonzo, takes Meg, Michael and eventually, Val to Italy. Things do not quite add up about Alonzo's winery and Michael is determined to uncover the truth about his business. As the three of them are looking into the winery, Gabi finds herself in a precarious situation and soon everyone is in a race against time to rescue her before it is too late.

Seduced by Sunday is another captivating installment in Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides series. Meg and Val are superbly developed characters and there is no denying the chemistry between them. The storyline is a fantastic mix of romance and mystery and the novel's conclusion is suspenseful and action-packed. All of the loose ends are wrapped up in a sweet and very romantic epilogue.

Although Seduced by Sunday can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend the previous novels in the Weekday Brides series as well.

Interesting

What I like about this series is that each book offers a different twist. You wouldn't think there wouldn't be that many choices you can come up with but this author has been able to do it. Can't wait to read the next book
