SEATED!!! One of the books I finished so fast. Like I want to know what's happening!!! At first Millie I am both annoyed at Millie and Nina. Like both of them are insuferrable!!!! Then o  part 2 it all unraveled. Oh I agree that the man needs some xxx hahaha.

Twist after twist! This book was so good and wild. This was one of Freida McFadden’s best books.

An easy and quick read. The writing style is also a breeze to read. Not as fast paced as I was led to believe it would be but the plot is captivating. About 132 pages in and the built up around the Nina character is still intriguing me. By the end of part 1, I realized that the hype around Nina was just a distraction especially when Millie was locked in the attic after she and Andrew spent the night in there. No wonder Poor Nina became psychotic, Andrew is a sadistic man. I'm happy about the shift in the point of view in part 2. I really needed to get the back Story about Nina. I wish I could also get the back story about Millie, like how she ended up in prison and all that. The only plot twist I didn't see coming I suppose was that Nina deliberately setup Millie. Other than that, everything became pretty obvious to me in part 2. One thing for sure is that Andrew is gone. The world is a better place without him in it. That ending though, is Millie now some sort of vigilante for abused housewives? If that's the case, I've got an idea of how the rest of the books in this series might go. Definitely going to finish to the rest, Millie's character has me intrigued. And I like Freida McFadden as an author, this book hasn't solidified my love for her yet but it definitely inspired me enough to seek out more of her books. Looking forward to going on this McFadden journey!

What a dumb read. Did I even read the same book as others?

Such juvenile writing, it sounds like it’s written by a pre-teen. Actually no, a pre-teen might write less cringy.

So unbelievable and far fetched… Million dollar mansion and Millie gets that room? With a lock on only the outside and scratches on the door like someone was trying to escape? Please stop 🤦‍♀️ I love a popcorn thriller, but this was not it.

2 ⭐️ for being readable
