Who knew someone could write a whole book on this one specific concept and it'd be so tense and compelling? I now know that Stephen King can!

I wasn't left 100% satisfied with it but it's a very clever, dark book, with lots to talk and think about.

I skipped a 100 pages cause I was getting tired of all the sexist comments in the book. But I did wanted to know how it ends.

1st read: Loved the simple premise. As an early work, King hasn’t settled into his signature style, but there are hints throughout. I enjoyed the minimal worldbuilding and the focus on the boys in the moment. Garraty isn’t the most thrilling narrator, but the ever-changing dynamics between the Walkers are captivating. Some really devastating movements.

Spoiler2nd read: McVries :((((
