Tarryn Fisher has been one of my favorite author’s for a while. So when I saw this book was getting a bunch of buzz and mixed reviews I had to read it.
Although not my favorite of hers, The Wives sucked me in quickly. The premise and the way Fisher constructed the plot was well done.
And then the “twist” that happened about halfway. Not my favorite in a thriller, though I do think Fisher did it well and most of the questions I had by the end were answered.
Quick, fast-paced, & addicting.

Thursday is wife number two of three. Wife one is Regina, third Hannah. They live in Portland, Thursday Seattle. Seth spends time with each, working his way around.
Curiosity. Thursday just can't help but look up Hannah's information when she finds a medical bill receipt. After scouring the internet, Thursday drives to Portland. And so it begins. Obsession. Violence. What is really going on with Seth and his three wives?
It was a guilty pleasure - I loved Thursday digging up dirt, chasing down information, working her husband for details.
Somewhat predictable but enjoyable.

Girl what the hell is this. This book was like two different books spliced together. But also the plot twist is a no. I’m throwing tomatoes.

Fand’s als Audio Buch richtig langweilig. Hab aber den Print hier und werde dem Buch eine zweite Chance geben

the suspense was good, but I've said it once and I'll say it again. the unreliable narrator is one of my least favorite tropes/features in a book

Thought this was going to be a fun trashy novel
And i was starting to get disappointed that it maybe wasn't trashy enough. The pivot was unexpected and made this week worth the read.
